Graduate Student in Astronomy
About Me
I am a second (final) year graduate student in the Astronomy MSc Program at Eötvös University (Budapest, Hungary). After I got my Physics BSc, I was a research assistant for an academic year at Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, MD, USA. My project there focused on gas spectroscopy of transitional disks. Since I am in Budapest again, I continue the research at Konkoly Observatory as a member of Konkoly Infrared and Space Astronomy Group. I am also collaborating in a transiting exoplanet survey at Observatoire de la Cote d’Azur, called
Antarctica Search for Transiting Extrasolar Planets (ASTEP), where I am using trend filtering methods to clean lightcurves and searching for planets.
In general, I am interested in star and planet formation, extrasolar planets and astrobiology.
